PISA!!!!
Today after class we took a little adventure to Pisa. After traveling to the buss station and finding out no buses went to Pisa, we hoped on a train and made it there in about an hour. The buss ride was nice because i feel like i have hardly sat down this entire trip. I'm fine with that though because i need to walk off all the incredible pasta and pizza i have been eating!!! After walking around Pisa and navigating our way through the town and shops we made it to the tower. I thought it was amazing how the thing is actually still standing. It looked so unsafe but you are allowed to climb to the top, although we did not do the climb it was very interesting. I actually thought that the tower itself would be bigger but the mabel and detail work on it was beautiful. I actually did not know about the basilica and dome that are behind the tower which are beautiful attractions as well. After taking picture of us "holding up the tower" we decided to venture back to Florence. We had a great day of sight seeing although it was pouring rain out. Next time ill definitely climb the tower!!!
